Clinical intent

The PRO2 (Mayo) UC is a Patient-reported outcome for the assessment of ulcerative colitis disease activity.

This version of the PRO2, added in October 2025, is specifically for UC and was developed in collaboration with AZ Maria Middelares for benchmarking purposes with other Belgian hospitals. This instrument may deviate from the original PRO2.

Both items are summed to get the total score.

Alert

An alert is triggered when either of the following conditions are met:

  • Stool frequency >= 2
  • Blood in stool >= 1
