Clinical intent
The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) was created to assess pain, stiffness, and physical function in patients with hip and / or knee osteoarthritis (OA).
Clinical interpretation
Higher scores on the WOMAC indicate worse pain, stiffness, and functional limitations.
